last life update i mentioned that my 6 month old kitten had a seizure on sunday morning at 4am. since then it has been the longest week of my life.
she was hospitalized overnight from sunday to monday, i picked her up and brought her home, she had another seizure where she attacked me by accident because of the post-ictal phase (i have bruises and cuts all over my hands and arms still), i brought her back to the vet and she was prescribed meds, i brought her home and she had another one, i brought her back to the vet to be prescribed more meds, i brought her home and she had another one, and now she’s being hospitalized until monday morning so she can make it until the scheduled MRI to see if it’s something treatable or if i have to ultimately say goodbye.
so um yeah. it’s been a time. her medication times are at 12am, 5am, 8am, 12pm, 5pm, and 11pm via pill, syringe, and eyedrops, so i haven’t been sleeping much, let alone had the chance to shoot, because i’ve been acting as nurse 24/7. this is also why i haven’t been replying to comments much, though i’m reading them all and appreciate them greatly. still trying my best on messages tho, and thank you for all the advice and kind words there.
so send good vibes my way, i really need em. she’s just a little baby and it’s been a really hard time. also i never leave my house or talk to anyone like, ever, so my cats are my besties and it’s just so rough.

also mini life update feel free to skip!!! ...................... ...................... ...................... termite guy came today and put some stuff in the wall because landlord is too cheap to fumigate the house, apparently it'll take a month to resolve the issue- if i was living here long-term i'd be upset but my lease ends in march and then he's the one that'll have to deal with the issue afterwards so....... shrug
air-conditioner is getting replaced tomorrow (allegedly) and then i'll be able to shoot again without feeling like i'm gonna be sick after 5 min. ironically enough tomorrow is also when the heatwave breaks after a month of 90 degree temperatures, so......... LMAO... whatever dude 💀
and last update, if there's any veterinarians/cat owners that have dealt with this on here: my lil kitty had a seizure on sunday morning at 4am so i've been taking care of her. it's never happened before and it was really scary. her BW and toxicology came back normal, and she's acting fine now. if anyone has any input i'd love to know. she spent 4 hours in the emergency vet and it came out to a hefty bill of $1.6k but i'm just happy she's alive. i remembered hearing that playing tetris after a traumatic event helps with ptsd so i was just playing it for 4 hours straight in the lobby. it did kinda help, but maybe it's placebo. the funny part is it was a cheap app i downloaded quickly without checking reviews and if i rotated the block too many times i had to watch an ad LMFAO.
so idk man, it's one thing after another, but still trying to stay positive :') will take a lot more than this to get me to give up!!!!!!!

so basically i am literally doomed. i'm still gonna try to get shit done, but if i am slower to reply or more distant just assume it's because my brain is being slow-cooked to death or that termites ate me alive.
and if i have any lawyers reading this that are familiar with renter's rights in california let me know- i've tried looking stuff up to see if i can withhold rent for pest infestation/no AC but no dice so far.
