My legs — usually so tense, so commanded by a mind sharper than the body —
floated.
Weightless. Free.
For once, even the stubborn resistance of spasticity surrendered to the water’s touch.
It’s humbling, in a way.
Even a Goddess can feel a kind of grace, when the world falls quiet around Her.
Now I’m back.
Sharper. Hungrier. Louder — in all the ways that matter.
